Description

The legend of the Holy Grail has become romantically linked with many sites around the world, not least among which is Llangollen in North Wales and the impressive ruin of Dinas Bran castle which overlooks that town. In more recent times, however, it has been suggested that this famous myth may be more directly connected with the nearby abbey known as “Valle Crucis” or the Vale of the Cross. Whispers of Templar burials at the site have persisted for more than a century. The abbey is also rumoured to have been the site of a much earlier Christian site. Is there any truth to these claims? What lies behind the myths? Using a combination of conventional and unconventional methods the author has endeavoured to gain some insights into these mysteries and this book is the result.
