Welcome to the website of The British Society of Dowsers
The British Society of Dowsers is a Registered Charity, founded in 1933 to promote dowsing in the United Kingdom and beyond. We presently offer a wide range of courses and training, and host a wide variety of meetings and activities centred on this ancient art, together with our annual conference held in September.
We warmly welcome new members and those people who wish to learn more about the fascinating and captivating art of Dowsing. You don’t have to know how to dowse to become a member; our popular training courses can take you from enthusiastic beginner right through to professional level.
Our Journal, “Dowsing Today,” is published three times a year and circulated throughout our membership.
Through our Registers of Practitioners we offer a dowsing referral service, and act as a point of information to the public. Membership of the Society provides access to our wide range of events as well as the opportunity to meet with others interested in this fascinating and valuable field.
The Society
The Society is run from our office in Malvern in Worcestershire. The Society is governed by an elected Council of six trustees who meet regularly. We have an annual Conference and Symposium and promote events and workshops throughout the UK. The Society acts as a hub to the network of over 30 affiliated local dowsing groups, who offer a warm welcome to new members with a programme of activities for all abilities.
