Hans-Dieter Betz, former professor of experimental physics,  was perhaps the foremost researcher in dowsing pf the late 20th century.   He was responsible for the “Munich Experiment”, the most expensive investigation into the efficacy of dowsing ever attempted. 

As an invited speaker to the BSD international congress held in York in 1993,  Dr Betz talks about several controlled scientific studies about dowsing which he has supervised.
