This book has a unique collection of some 250 plans of English Stone Circles and Henges, each of which include a significant amount of information. Over the last seventeen years Paul Daw has used his surveying skills to record the location of every stone within its circle, and since 2007 he has used dowsing rods to indicate the predicted position of the many missing stones that have been lost over the centuries, probably stolen and re-used to build nearby churches and cottages. These plans of late Neolithic and Early Bronze Age sites are indexed by County, and each one has its own individual scale, and an accurate O.S. grid reference. During his research the author has discovered many previously unknown stone circles, including several circular features inside the world’s largest circles henge at Avebury in Wiltshire
